We welcome you to Arnis, the smallest town in Germany. The former island has been connected to the mainland since the 18th century and is nestled in a picturesque landscape. The "Pearl of the Schlei" is not only a popular destination for visitors from the region, but also a real insider tip among water sports enthusiasts. From our family-friendly home port, you can not only explore Germany's largest inland fjord at 40 kilometers, but also start a wonderful trip towards the Danish South Sea. If the weather is good, you might not even want to leave our home port of Arnis.

With 45 hectares of land and 300 inhabitants, Arnis is certainly not big, but all the more idyllic for that. The small town on the west bank of the Schlei, just a few kilometers south of Kappeln, looks back on a long fishing and shipbuilding tradition and is ideal for long walks. Along the "Lange Straße", which was built 300 years ago, there are a number of small shops as well as the historic town hall with changing exhibitions. A variety of cycling and hiking trails in the area invite you to explore. Back in Arnis, after a long tour, it is worth cooling off in the Schlei - there is a bathing area with a small playground at the southern end of the town.
And if you want to exchange your sails for a steamer at short notice, historic excursion steamers depart from Kappeln with a tour via Schleimünde to Schleswig and back.
