Welcome to the home port of Kopperby

Our marina in Kopperby is located in the middle of Germany's most popular water sports area - as a district of the town of Kappeln, between Kappeln and Arnis. The beautiful surroundings are ideal for walks, bike rides and excursions along the Schlei: for example, take the ferry to Arnis, the smallest town in Germany, or to Schönhagen on the extensive Baltic Sea beach. With such a diverse landscape, it's no wonder that ZDF found the perfect setting for the popular ZDF series "The Country Doctor" here! You'll especially appreciate the relaxed pace of the Kopperby district in the summer season: from the beginning of April to the end of October, you can enjoy the beauty of the Schlei in peace.

According to the Kappeln saying, “Never say goodbye to Kappeln without an eel from Föh,” a short detour to the traditional smokehouse, which also has a terrace with a view of the harbor, is also worthwhile. If you fancy a sightseeing tour, you can admire lovingly restored traditional ships in the museum harbor - the oldest ships are over a hundred years old. The museum harbor is also the perfect vantage point to admire the double-winged bascule bridge over the Schlei, which opens every hour. Above the town center is the “Amanda” mill, where the tourist
