Many cultural and tourist attractions are easy to reach on foot or by using public transportation thanks to the ideal location near the centre of the city. You can also enjoy the unique, enchanting view over the water from all apartments and suites and can spend hours dreaming while watching the sailboats start on their tours.

Arrive at the centre of Bremerhaven with ease using public transportation, including trains and busses. From here, it’s not far to our im-jaich Boardinghouse and our im-jaich Lloyd Marina.

Arrival by Train

Just take the train to Bremerhaven Central Station. The bus station is directly in front of the train station. All you have to do is to take the bus line 505 heading to “Debstedt” or the 506 heading to “Schulzentrum” and get out at the bus stop “Havenwelten”. From here, walk past the German Immigration Center, keeping the historical ships at your right. At the corner of the inner harbour (the Bistro Lloyds should be to your left), turn right and walk along the water’s edge. Only 300 metres on, and you’ll be standing right in front of the im-jaich Boardinghouse Bremerhaven.

Arrival by Car

Drive on the A27 until you reach the exit “Bremerhaven-Zentrum”. A green sign with the text “Boardinghouse” is situated in front of the first underground crossing. Simply follow the signs until you can see the Simon-Loschen-Lighthouse on the opposite side of the harbour. Take a right turn here and follow the signs until you reach our parking lot.
