The small town of Lauterbach and our Wasserferienwelt are located on the southern coast of Rügen, right next to the Biosphere Reserve Southeast Rügen: the trip to this natural reserve already awakens holiday atmosphere! In order to find your way to us easily & comfortably and make the journey even more interesting, we have here tips for a particularly beautiful approach.

Arrival by train

You can easily reach Lauterbach by train, because it stops right next to the Wasserferienwelt! We are located just 100 metres from the train station Lauterbach Mole; just follow on the left in travel direction the road "Zum Yachthafen" and you will find yourself right in the middle of the Wasserferienwelt.

By the way, the "Racing Roland" stops right in Lauterbach Mole - the oldest narrow-gauge railway in Germany is not just a rolling museum, but also integral part of the public transport network of the island of Rügen.

Arrival by car

Lauterbach can be reached both by land over the B96 in the direction of Rügen, as well as on the waterway - we recommend: the nicer route does not lead over the Rügen bridge, but with the Glewitzer ferry, which you can take from Stahlbrode to Glewitz. From there it is only 22 km to Lauterbach. On the site of our Wasserferienwelt there are enough parking lots, also for your caravan!

The "White Fleet" is actually also docking in the port of Lauterbach, right next to the Wasserferienwelt. From here you can set out for beautiful excursions around the island of Vilm.
