On the way with the kayak
It was to be a trip into the blue: out on the water in canoes and kayaks. It was a spontaneous idea, born during a brunch with friends. The very next day we wanted to set off to distant shores to discover new lands. Columbus needed several years and many intercessions with the Spanish queen. A quick call to im-jaich was enough for us and our fleet was ready. We could have chartered a sailing boat, but everyone starts small. After all, we are only leisure Columbuses. Our world tour took us from Lauterbach through the Greifswalder Bodden, past the Vilm to the south pole of Rügen, which is called Palmer Ort. In between, we got off every now and then, went swimming, lit a campfire. The sun played along, especially in the evening. What a sunset. It would look kitschy on TV, but in real life it is a delight. That's why we're going to do something really colorful again soon: off into the blue, green, red. Then maybe even with the small folkboats from im-jaich.
